    Hey

I am a Mac user and I have a PC and I have ScrapeBox on that. Bought it the other day.

I used to run VMware on my Macbook but it just slowed my Macbook the hell down so I got rid of it. There is a software called ScrapeBlogs for Mac and I was just wondering if any of you Mac guys out there have tried it and what are your thoughts on it.

Don't tell me to just use Bootcamp and shit like that; I am just asking your opinion on the software, ScrapeBlogs. I know it won't be nearly as good as ScrapeBox but does it do the job to a good enough standard and any fault? Stuff like that.

    Thanks

well, its good to see another seo tool for a mac. That makes 3 now that I know of...but I wouldn't pay $50 for a pos when I get scrapebox for $57 and run on a vps.

I purchased it early today. It is similar to Scrapebox, however it feels like an early release. Lots of bugs. No testing of proxies that I can see which is a big problem if you scrape proxies like I do. On top of that many key Scrapebox features are missing. I had a feeling this would be the case when I bought it, however I want to support Mac developers. Hopefully my purchase goes towards helping this dev improve this application.

There is no Ping or RSS Ping in this application, while this is my least used feature of Scrapebox it is still a feature I use from time to time. The Blog filtering tools once you have harvested your list of sites are mostly absent in this application.

However there are some pluses to this application. The registration was fast and I did not have wait a day to start using it after purchase.

I would buy this app if:
    • You pay for a proxy service
    • You need a mac app ASAP
    • You want to support mac apps being developed

I would not buy this app:

    • If you do not pay for a proxy service
    • You need all the scrapebox features now

I will keep playing with this application and report back as I know and learn more. Hopefully there will be updates to it soon.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

It is getting there, this app gives me some hope. I generally only use Windows for Scrapebox and anti-virus. Other than that I do not have any other windows applications.
