Any MAC Users on here?

I use my Mac for everything that it will allow me to. I love it. But there's a big emphasis on "everything it will allow me to.". I have a cheap windows netbook for the windows only software

First used mac in 1997. I personally found it horrible. Although I was only 7 :) Before then I had an.. ACORN!!! Got a windows 98 PC, and have never ever seen a reason to switch since. I use macs (or crapple macs as I like to call them) all the time in University, about 4 5 hours a day..

Steve Jobs was an awesome scammer! ;)

I actually really enjoy my mac---never thought I would switch until I started using my gf's & liked how easy it was to use. Just run parallels w/ windows and I can do pretty much everything I want...

I have a 27" iMac with the Magic mouse and osx lion... I lived by windows until now...

Magic mouse is really the biggest thing. You have 5 desktops you can slide through with just the swipe of a finger. Makes it really easy to do more work.

One thing I hate it seems like the Mac and Youtube do not get along.

Same here....i also have the iMac 27'' with the magic mouse. Just love it...

You'll hear lot of bad opinions about apple phones, laptops, computers...just because some can't afford to buy it and they are upset because of that. Yes it's more expensive, but the mac experience worth every $

So...if you can afford it, buy it, don't listen to haters that cry because they are poor

i was a big time windows users and would never look at a mac. Until recently, now its all mac. I'm creative :)

I am in love with my MAC, I would marry him if I could....;)

for raw processing power i'd go with a PC. i got a quad core, 8 gig monster PC for a couple hundred bucks, a mac would cost thousands.

that being said, i've always been a mac guy. the sleek design and interface can't be topped.

I've got a mac (they gave it to me at work) and several PCs. I've found out it looks nice and has lots of eyecandy for the everyday user. It's also good for doing music and general home movie editing and photoshop stuff, and it has lots of dumbed down software for the average family.

For everything else it's a piece of hardware that looks REALLY good and costs thrice as much as a real computer (but people will think you're hip and rich and they'll worship you, I saw that in advertisements). My day job involves 3D animation and HD video creation and editing stuff. Macs with same specs than PCs, particularly those with (supposedly) the same GPU take longer for everything. Their GPUs are somehow crippled not to deliver their full power, so guys working in 3D programs get frustrated when they see someone else on a 'crappier' machine getting things done waaaaaay faster. But I know people that spend their money on them will always find ways to feel better with their choice ("it's a feaaaatureee" they'll say, and proceed to add: "it doesn't get malwareeeee and looks betteeeeer"). I think they call it emotional investment or something :p.

Yeah, they don't get BSOD, they just get the rainbow colored spinning whatchamacallit stuck in an endless loop or get the software quit unexpectedly, but there are mac lovers that will tell you that's somehow a feature.

I hate the mac I got assigned at work, I only use it for simple things -computing-power wise, mind you - like vector design and photoshop. For everything else I use my Win7 powered machine, same at home. And I've yet to experience a single crash since I use the Win7 OS. But anyway, if you use it for IM you can always install some kind of emulator to run the tools of the trade, and imagine you're running them on a real PC at full speed.
