I was wondering if anybody has any LinkedIn marketing tips. I have added a lot of connections and make posts that link back to my site, but I'm wondering if there is anything better I could be doing. Doing this though has gotten me a good bit of visitors, but of course I'm always looking for more.

I'm not at all clear wht yuo're trying to achieve with LinkedIn? Are you trying to promote your business directly or are you trying to use it for SEO purposes?

There was a ebook or pdf on increasing your seo on their site. It looked old when I saw but the idea is you put keywords in your profile for each project you do. So then when someone searches for "videographer" your name should come up number 1. Like I said its pretty old but think of linkedin as google see why certain people rank higher than others.

Tips..? They said first impression last.. So add rich visual content on your profile by means of using professional portfolio, photos, video etc.. being creative is vital.
If you have a great LinkedIn profile and lots of connections, it?s not going to do you much good unless you become more active on the network. You can?t position yourself as a go-to resource unless you are visible, valuable and timely with your participation on LinkedIn.

Just join as many adding groups as possible. There you will find lists with 100's of emails. You can then mass invite other users and you will exchange ratings!
I do not have any tip, but I can tell you some guideline:
- Identify your target audience.
- Fulfill your profile.
- Connect with people that are your target: search keywords, join groups; follow companies.
- Create high quality posts.
- Comment, ask questions in groups to become Top Contributor in the group.
- You can make your own group and invite your connections join in.

Most of the people ignore Linkedin, the reason is unknown. But, I found Linkedin so impressive either in marketing or Seo. Filling your profile with detail would be a good approach, if you are serious about your business.

You will need to connect with LIONs in order to build a strong business relationship.
Participate on your targeted niche groups, involve yourself in productive discussion and you will be able to add that people to your connections. Specially now that you have something in common.
