Hey, I'm thinking of buying a reddit account with an already established karma.

Will there be any problems with the account once I log in from my IP address, that is thousands of miles from the original IP, which the account was created from? Does reddit care about that at all?

My first experience with buying an established account was pretty bad.

A bought one (US account) and logged in with a US IP and 24 hours later, I got banned. Wasn't able to get it back.

I've managed a few hundred reddit accounts and from my experience you can login from as many different ip addresses as you want. Just if you use multiple accounts on the same IP to boost upvotes, the upvotes will be ghosted.

It only becomes a problem if a mod looks into your history, usually if you are submitting "spam". If they see an account made in Croatia and it's used in South Korea, you'll probably get a shadowban.

Also, if that account was made as a big batch with other accounts, if one of them go, they may all go.

Aaah, good point
