I'm your regular IT worker man, selling my hours for money. I remember starting working in my IT niche (irrelevant, very common, doesn't matter) long time ago for under $100 per day and I've graduated to 500 now, but of course I don't work 30 days a week. But can't complain.

Anyhow, I'd like to do something with my savings and even though I know the basics of IM (I was on wickedfire long time ago) I never actually applied to any of it. Don't know why, I found it too cumbersome and also my mindset was horrible - I would read someones journey or success story and I would start to think about how much time I'd need to put into this one idea and hope that it works, it would induce a kind of paranoia in me. I'm gonna put in XY days into this one thing and I'll fail? No thanks just hire me.

Pathetic yes I know. So this information product is more than anything to break my conditioning. I want to write about a topic I know of. I'd like to promote it to younger demographic, since I don't see much use pitching it to people in their 30s of 40s, they're probably long set on their way. I'm aware that being a YouTube personality is a route people choose to go, but I'm not willing to be a talking head, I'd rather try with static content, ebook or something.

Also another thing worries me - I can't bullshit really. The way I'd make my product would be straight up, I don't think I'll be able to sell hype or dreams, just pratical, proven and useful advice. Could such ideas or concepts reach the mind of an average zoomer? If anyone has any similar story going on, let me know, therapy is in session :D

You can always sell your valuable information you just need to find the correct audience. If your ebook or something similar is good enough, unique and high quality it wouldn’t consist a problem selling it there are many people doing it.

Am I delusional to think that I can find somewhat interested zoomers who aren't just about doing the whoa dance or whatever? Maybe approach some tiktok midlevel persona and ask him to plug the product, did anyone do that approach?

Nobody has ever done that before

There are so many avenues open to you.
If you want to do a straight up product which is a training course based on what you do - and know well - then how about creating a course on Udemy or Teachable?
Just an idea...

Nobody ever done what, approach TikTokers successfully to have them pitch their product?

I thought about it, but perhaps start with one product, as I'm not a teacher so I'm not sure I'd be able to come up with a whole system of delivering my know how, I'd think a one type product would be easier.

Also I'm curious to know is selling "realistic" possible, for example book that's not thousand pages, rather short, to the point, no filler words or wasting time. It sounds like a logical angle but then again people have been proven themselves as willing to be duped many times, opting for feelings over reason and dreams over hard work :D

Start with one subject solving one issue and solve that 'problem' people have.
Selling this is VERY realistic.
Go look in Amazon book section.
Search in there for the topic you want to write about or teach.
Now tell me that there is no money in what you want to do ;)

Seriously, there is nothing stopping you being a teacher except you.
Have you never shown someone at work - or a client - what to do and how to do it?
Some somewhere said 'just do it' so...good luck.

Geez man I hate the noise my brain give me every now and then, it's the same pattern every single time, I go to bed and before I dive into sleep all these positive thoughts about the idea fly through my head, and then I wake up and it all feels overwhelming, insurmountable and borderline pointless - am I gonna make something of interest, am I gonna be able to reach the right audience, is anyone gonna buy it, does anyone really need it...

Dammit already.
