any idea how to monetize this domain?

I managed to buy an interesting domain in my language, the English equivalent is Home Expert. It's a dot com domain.
I searched and bought it because I recently saw a user on Flippa selling a site in the home niche in my own language.

According to his Flippa insertion, he earns around $ 2,000/month and monetizes it with Amazon Affiliate and display ads. He has more than 1500 articles published. I initially wanted to go after him, but I'm realizing the payoff may not be worth the investment and time.

So any idea how I can possibly monetize better a domain like this? I was thinking maybe to start a membership site, but I have no clue what to sell.

Make a good blog with related home & garden topics and after 1 year of consistent hard work doing unique texts go for Adsense. This is my best advice. After some time you can use it for a backlinks strategy. A good reliable PBN with Google Adsense. The ones that make a difference among others.

Great piece of advice.. i was also looking for the same.. this sounds useful. and I have AdSense for my 3 yr old now but I am not getting anything... what am I missing? can you shed some light?

You could do display ads and affiliate links like your competitor. There are also selling POD products, selling digital products your niche would like, backlinks, and courses.

Share and re-share your articles in Social media. Also, pay for traffic. Find a good reliable real traffic provider.
