Hi,

I have a website that provides a free service for website owners (it's about checking/generating backlinks)

The user needs to enter his website URL + email.

So for now, i'm using the emails to send every week affiliate offers (hosting...), but the conversion is bad

Any idea ?

No, don't affiliate. Offer YOUR OWN backlink package. Buy services from BHW, add your extra percentage and that's it. Dropship seo services.

Honestly, I prefer to avoid selling backlink package. The main reason is that 99% of the backlinks here are not really backlinks. It's more blackhat or PBN.
So If i start to sell bullsh*t, the reputation of the website will go down.

Provide some attractive offers for the clients through E-mail regularly. Make a link with it to visit your site and that helps to make contact with your site. Then you try to contact the clients directly and make success in your business with more interactions.
And also it will increase your site traffic to gain in SERP.

I know it takes some time to achieve your expectations. But slow and steady wins the race mate.

Use social media to post your link and stay connect with it by bookmarking your site in it.

Offer them packages?

When you say you don't want to hurt your business's reputation it implies you are a serious businessman. If this is true, then you must know that it's extremely important to establish a trust flow between yourself and your subscribers. Here is some things I might do:

1. Let people use your website for free.
2. Offer a free report which is targeted to get them to OPT-IN to your newsletter. This is entirely different from your current approach, and the reason it isn't working well is because people are only giving the email to use the site. I hope that makes sense. You want them to give you their email because they want something from you which they will receive LATER. Not that much later, but giving them immediate access as an incentive simply encourages them to use their "burner" email accounts. As such - only a very small percentage of people are ever even seeing your targeted messages offering products/services.
3. You can try keeping it "as is" (Email For Use Of Site), and just try some value building by sending actually relevant and helpful messages to them for a few days before hitting them with an offer.
4. I would go with option #2 above instead of #3, but I would also still do the value building for 2-3 days before sending an offer.

You should find that if you squeeze these people into your email lists a little less aggressively that they will like you more, and respond much more favorably to your content, but I remain confident that as it stands very few people are even seeing those messages.

Are you fishing for emails?

you are offering a service to website owners and then sending them hosting offers, the very fact that they are checking their websites means they have hosting so most probably not interested. Why not offer traffic services or something useful to a website owner

First of all, I have to congratulate you for building an email list.

You're definitely on the right track to making real money with affiliate marketing.

With that said, the way you're doing it is actually not a good idea.

From what I can gather from your post, you are just dropping naked links or putting naked offers on the emails itself.

You have to understand that any email list is essentially a multi-filter system.

What do I mean by a multi-filter system?

You have to start with one email then send out offers there to get people to sign up to other email lists.

This way you can filter people based on whether they're going to buy certain things or whether they're interested in certain topics.

The more filtered your list is, the higher the likelihood people would buy.

If you're in a rush to make money off your list, you might want to create a one-dollar product or any cheap product and offer it continuously.

As part of the purchasing process, people have to enter their email before they get the product.

Once you get a nice buyer's list going, then you can send affiliate offers.

Of course, you have to send the right affiliate offers to the right people.

Niche relevance plays a key role in your success.
