Here is the best advice anyone on this board will give you. There is
no tool that will get you #1. Learn as much as you can about SEO. There is so much misinformation out there, it makes my head hurt, but it is necessary to still learn. Once you feel as though you have learned enough, start putting it into practice.
Here is some quick tips for you.
1)
On site is really important! Recently their algo has changed to make it even more important. Most people will say on site makes up for 20-30% importance. I would say it is more like 50-60% now.
2) Analyze your competition. Would a boxer get into the ring with a guy that he has no clue about? Of course he wouldn't unless he was a complete retard. This is where tools come in handy. Use Market Samurai and analyze your competition. Find out where he is getting backlinks. Analyze his website. Ect ect.
3) Now I know I will get flack for this, but I don't give a shit, because I have achieved massive terms on the first page without ever doing any Xrumer blast, or any Blackhat stuff. They always seemed to hurt my rankings more than they helped. Google has some of the smartest people working for them. You think they don't know about a bunch of tards trying to game their system? Build your backlinks naturally. Try to stay as whitehat as you can.
Hope this helps

Best of luck to you. Nothing comes easy, so if you are looking for a quick fix, then don't quit your day job.
