Any good alternative to Hostgator VPS

I would check out Future Hosting. They are a smaller hosting provider, but have a good reputation and more importantly, competitive prices.

Hy.

When you are looking for a hosting company there are many factors to take in consideration and many times if you do your homework you could probably find cheaper and better company then the all the big brands in the business.

Beside the common things that you must look for like up time, features, script allowed etc the second thing that you must look for is witch clients do you target and try to find a hosting company that have the same location as your clients, geo location also have a role in the SEO part, not so important but it exist.

So when you say you look for an alternative or for a hosting company say what are you looking for exactly.

Second the hosting section in the marketplace is a good point to start a research.

I have been using Host-Stage.net and they have never disappointed me once! My site is online 99% and no single down time.
The owner is a member here.

I use a few different hosts in use, at the moment I like Arvixe managed vps with cpanel and whm. Seen that they are not well regarded on here though, which now worries me a bit, although not had much trouble after the rather disapointing initial setup. Site5 is another good one for me.

Thanks, i`m looking at tmzvps at the moment. Gonna check others too!

Cheers

Simply look in the marketplace under hosting and you can see company reviews and normally
companies that sell here give special discounts.

If you have a discount code, GoDaddy could be an option. I know that most users don't like them all much on here, but I've never had a problem.

Future Hosting is no good I tried them already.

I like Wiredtree - they aren't the cheapest - but you get what you pay for when it comes to hosting.

I have heard good things about OVH.co.uk I see a lot of websites hosted on their web servers these days, though they charge in pounds.

Obhosting and ServerMania VPS deals can be suitable for your needs, the OP.
Servers are stable and prices are reasonable on their services.
highly recommended to check out their plans.

You know rivalhost has stable and reliable VPS deals which are a good alternative to the mentioned companies.
Their servers have no downtime and prices are competitive.

cpanel is more expensive panel, look for plesk or other panel
also if you don't put customer on it there is free panel (and good one) that's do all your need.

look at openvz vps provider for get the best price, you don't need kvm one.
Problem with openvz provider, cheapest means overbooked vps

If you are look for fast website (absolute need for seo), don't go to the cheapest one, maybe first months will be good but quality will go lower or very bad

If you need an offer pm me.
Our windows plan is here : http://vpswindows.biz

English website for linux plan is not yet translate in english but we have openvz/kvm plan with plesk, interworx, cpanel plans

I'd suggest Arvixe. I used to have my VPS there. They are really good.

I have with inmotionhosting VPS for 4 years+ and am happy with the hosting support and up-time.
