I have personally paid for the signups first month, just to qualify for the bonus. I had too many memberships tied to my paypal account and they called me on it. But this could easily be incentivised.
Some stayed some quit afterwords, but I still make more than the $10 a month. [not much more any longer] after almost 2 years

I am also a member of global domains international for some time now, and doing great with.
I am not after the $100 bonus that I would get after every 5 person that signs up in a 7 days period.
I am building my downline with another system, that is called profit sharing marketing. It is more efficient this way, because if the members do not see the results soon, they will quit after a while.
So, I am concentrating my efforts on putting members in my referrals downline to motivate and stimulate them!

GDI is not an MLM scam, I can assure you about that. They are paying their members since 2000 every month... perform a search on google and you will not find them at any scam list.
Oh, and the GDI business is profitable...
Another member of GDI here. I signed up with a duplicable traffic/lead generation system that feeds into GDI. I only paid $10 the first month, from month 2 and on I was actually receiving checks (although they're not HUGE yet). It's the only non-blackhat method that I have actually make money from.

Hello there fellow GDI member!
Great results can be achieved if you use some kind of GDI downline builder or GDI feeder. There are a couple of them that indeed worth to be use.
GDI it's paying its members since 2000 - which is something that not many companies can be proud with!

Sometimes it might seem hard to find referrals to GDI... every start is hard, but with time it gets easier... after you get a few people join under you, they will start to get referrals of their own, and your downline will eventually grow!
It is preferable to use some kind of feeder - downline builder for GDI, they are the best way to build your business.
Of of them - that a couple of GDI members are successfully using are the spidersystem... as that is in your nick, I suppose you are a member of the spiderweb system. Try to build your GDI business using that!

i should know because i used to always get sucked into these things. ive been a member of many mlm schemes b4 gdi even came out. this was when i was not even 18 yet. was in gdi for a little while too.. anyway the way i see it is anything with a downline is MLM... if u need to recruit ppl and they need to recruit ppl how is that not MLM/pyramid???? even if theres a product or service to front as a business its just a mutated form of the mlm virus which survives by mutating and adapting to trick ppl in new ways.
im not saying gdi is not profitable. im just saying its wack, not bh at all. its bottom feeder hat (unless u start your own GDI type thing)

Look, you can make money with mlms, pyramid schemes, hyips, and cash gifting. With GDI, if you dont know how to get people who want to join an MLM that costs $10 per month then you should quit it, you will only lose money. That is how the leaders at gdi make money, by noobs failing to see that targetted traffic + targetted product = success. I.E if you are using the spiderwebsystem to promote gdi this is flawed, sure you will make some conversions, but the spiderweb system targets people who want to make money for free... these imo are terrible leads... terrible for your downline. You want to target people who already pay for services like this. Not people who want everything for nothing.
I lost a few bucks with gdi because I had no idea how to promote anything, (still managed to get plenty of daily leads though, to bad they were complete fucking retards). But im sure now if i targetted people who just joined a $50 per month MLM that I could pursuade them to quit and join my cheaper op.

FWIW I tried the Spiderweb system, sent plenty of traffic to it, both targeted and not, and had 0 signups, not even any leads. Advertising GDI directly is also a bad idea. That is how i joined the first time I tried GDI. It was an utter failure. I gave up and quit 3 months later and $30 in the hole. The second time around using a GDI feeder I have now made that back and much more.
I also tried teprofits, which feeds into trafficwave rather than GDI. This has been around ALOT longer than the other two, and I should have known it's already been advertised into saturation.

Actually GDI is still only $10 and yea you do have to purchase the DVDS to qualify for the Leaderboard. I am actually in GDI and I am actually looking for some real balckhatters to work with. I am constucting a members area and training website for all the noobs I bring into my Downline. I think GDI is one of the most powerful Pyramid mlm businesses on the entire internet. Heres the method behind getting people to sign up for GDI, since GDI is a domain business you have to give people a reason to buy a domain. Not just for the business and income potential but a reason to get a website going.
