if you are looking for long term website hosting then i suggest you not to go with free hosting . free hosting providers will remove your website anytime and comes with many limitations like force ad placement .

i have used hostgator and its good .you can also search coupons on internet to give you 30% discount . also you can check bhw marketplace. just dont think too much about price . start the main job asap
