Hi,
I would like to check my wordpress website for external links.
I want to make sure my wordpress wasn't hacked or infected with unwnated links.

Any free tool for that?

Checks all the links on your website, tells you which one's aren't working, gives you a list of every link and it's status.

If you put your homepage in xenu, set depth to about 10 and uncheck "check external links" it will report back on all links, including external, without checking if they are legitimate (ie not a 404, etc)

if you choose to check external links, it'll start crawling those sites, which you don't need.

Once it it has finished running you can export a tab seperated filed of all links and filter for external

I would recommend this also. You can do much more interesting stuff with this software.

validator.w3.org is a free online tool to check the backlinks of a website. Pretty good tool to work with it..
