Hi,
I'm planning to start using wordpress just to become familiar with ,i found a free hosting for 6 months but i still need a domain so any suggestion ?

If you register your domain with a different registrar than your host you'll have to wait 60 days before you can transfer it.

Put a domain in your cart with your host and leave it there. Within 2-3 days (most of the time) you'll get a coupon for 20%+ off. You can also Google coupon codes with your host to see if any are still valid.

You don't need the domain at same company as the host, you can just redirect the nameservers.
If you want a free domain, I have some domains I don't use, I'll be happy to give one to you for free
