So I've been doing some research about exporting/importing goods from another country to Canada and I'm still confused so I thought I should ask here to see if anyone knows.
My partner is suppose to export the goods to me he told me the Canadian Customs told him to grab some forms (CN22/CN23) but when I got the post office today and asked the guy, he said I shouldn't have to do anything because he's exporting the goods to me, everything should be done over on his side?
There's just seems to be so much stuff that I might/have to do I just don't know where to start. Like do I even need a BN (business number) for declaring the imported goods? Or can I just treat it as if I bought a bunch of stuff from ebay and just pay the custom tariff/tax/duty/whatever you called it since its just a small - medium box size container, not a whole cargo container.
Man this import/export stuff is like a whole new world to me
Thanks guys
