Have no experience with this, but read the modafinil wikipedia before you think of using this drug. You shouldn't do it. Do soem exercise, biking, walking, running or whatever, drugs are mostly used to suppress side effects of your problem, but don't cure the source.

Here's what wikipedia says abou side effects:

    • Headache (~34%)
    • Nausea (~11%)
    • Nervousness (~7%)
    • Diarrhea (~6%)
    • Insomnia (~5%)
    • Anxiety (~5%)
    • Dizziness (~5%)
    • Dyspepsia (~5%)
    • Dry Mouth (~4%)
    • Anorexia (~4%)
    • Flu Syndrome (~4%)
    • Chest Pain (~3%)
    • Depression (~2%)
    • Chills (~1%)
    • Neck Rigidity (~1%)
    Serious side effects include:

    • Serious rash
    • Serious allergic reaction involving the liver or blood cells
    • Hives
    • Mouth sores
    • Blistering or peeling skin
    • Swelling of the face, eyes, lips, tongue, legs, or throat
    • Trouble swallowing or breathing
    • Fever
    • Shortness of breath

More possible side effects than advantages.

Those are side effects of all drugs.

OP, I haven't heard of this drug. Have no experience either but always willing to try something new. Is this something you read about or a friend told you about?

Erowid is the go-to source for experiences https://www.erowid.org/experiences/subs/exp_Modafinil.shtml

Yeah so many things have side effects like that. I've just heard so many good things about it. Like getting rid of brain fog which I have been dealing with lately. It just really hurt me financially because I can't really think properly anymore because of being so depressed all the time. I just need focus. Another thing I should probably mention is that I don't take any drugs of any kind but am willing to give this a shot.

    Hey,

Modafinil, I take this. Ordered it from India where they have lax drug copyright laws on pharmaceuticals.

It is amazing. Its a soft ride with some intense points. I recommend starting taking only a quarter of one, see its effects, then a half, and then a whole.

It sneaks up on you for sure. You find your self not having any sleep need or like wanting to take a nap, the desire for rest just sorta goes away.. its like you had the best sleep in your life x2. Your focus goes up, your ablity to turn threw piles of work with ease goes up.

The only side effect I have had is a bit more irritable. This is cause I am so focused on what I am doing, just getting information, processing it and outputting it, that when someone interrupts me or does not get what I am telling them right away (*cause their brain is working slow or the concepts are too large).. I feel a desire to slap them rising up.. and have to self check myself. Be kind to people.

I do a process of what I call "Rush Days". I make a list of to do's , then once or twice a week I take a half pill (*does it for me), I turn off FB and other social media (Unless I need it for work cause it will suck you in), then the tunnel vision and focus sets in.. time slip happens and I churn threw work like a mad man. 12-15hrs later (the half life is about that), work for the week is done, and I rest the next day.

Remember to just keep drinking water and eating, set timers to help you take breaks threw out the day (*cause you wont want to stop - I use "Eye Leo" on my computer *search it.. it helps me to look away and take a break). And important, you can go on a 48 hr + burn without sleep easy like by taking a pill every 12 hrs, but your body still needs sleep.. I do not recommend staying up for more then 2 days and 2 nights in a row.. things get weird then... wierd...

It is a Schedule S drug, so you know... their is that. You can still mail order it tho..

Read this page as well. This guy did some bio hacking on this drug, very informative.
(cant post links, please add 3 w's here) gwern (dot) net/Modafinil

Also lists places that sells it.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
    Cheers

    Hey,

Modafinil is definitely one of the less dangerous work drugs, but I'd still not recommend it if you can do otherwise.

Often times, it's just required to get into "the zone", or tunnel vision.

For that, you don't need a drug... a simple pre-work ritual does the trick!

    What I do:

1.) Create a to do list and create a distraction free environment (only the stuff you need; all social media and chatting stuff closed)
2.) Drink a glass of water and have some on your side
    3.) 5-10 minutes shadow boxing
4.) Really good music (preferebly w/o any lyrics, but you know best what music you can work to)
    5.) Start working

I do this every time, and it works like a charm!

    warm regards,
    neocortx

Work out more, lifting some weights a few times a day(doesn't have to be lots) and having a fruit smoothie with protein and blueberries is good. If you spike it with one of those concreated energy syrups that is for flavoring water it helps with concentration for about all day long.

Do you have any recipes? I'm willing to give it a shot.

Is it addictive? I have no plans to get hooked on anything. I plan on using modafinil only on the weekend.

Don't try Concerta, not worth it.

Go with either Modafini or Adrafinil (I prefer the second). Don't overdo with the dosages and cycle it 5/2 [don't take during the weekend] and you'll be fine.

Get some nice energy booster to it [I like Shred Matrix from Muscle Pharm] and you can have great effects with low dosages.

Usually I made something like this:
I used vanilla protein power by natureade :Total Soy Meal Replacement (I choose this one since it was only one I could find that didn't have cholesterol in it).: 3 or 4 scoops
1/3 to 1/2 of one of the bags from Dole Mixed Fruit
    http://www.samsclub.com/sams/bag-n-bag-mix-fruit-6-1-lb-bag/prod11690260.ip?navAction=

And then I added some frozen blueberries and then Mio energy Black Cherry.

I don't plan on taking high dosages. So what is your overall experience with it if you don't mind me asking?

I'm lactose intolerant so soy is a better option anyway.

You will find a lot of information and personal experiences here.

    http://www.reddit.com/r/nootropics/

I haven't tried modafinil but I have been taking
    L-Theanine + Caffeine (200mg + 100mg) daily
and it has really helped me focus on work.

I heard L-Theanine + Caffeine has been good for anxiety for some people. I actually recently bought CILTEP, so I will give that a shot.

    Just noticed your reply.
Do post your results with CILTEP, whether it helped you focus.

Ok this is my third time taking this pills

5 hours before, I feel bored, un-motivate, depression, sleepiness, can' focus.

So I start taking the 200mg of modalert pill.

First 30 minutes, I feel little bit anxious, even panic attack.

1 hour later I start to get working, I don't feel any buzz or high, it just my mind suddenly, it can stay focus.
This is the main reason why I'm taking this pill. Because I have ADHD.

2 hours later, i don't feel any depression, it kill my depression, it make me feel relax, confident, and talkative. (witch is I never expected).

3 hours later... This time it make me paranoid. Why?

Because apart from now where, I feel very euphoria. And I have no idea why.

Did they just mix this pill with any other drug like MDMA or METH.

I can't sleep. I become very productive. Very focus. Happy. Energize.

Did you guys have any other experience?
