Can you share your experiences with drop shipping? Can you leave some advice & tips?

Thanks!

  • get money from the seller before you ship the item.
  • Ask what name or address has to be written in the parcel ( I mean the From address name) This will help the seller make his customer believe that he sent the parcel.
  • Ask if you have insert any personal message or flyer inside the parcel

thanks scarer! I was doing some research, a lot of people are saying that there is too much competition, & that its not worth trying. What do you think? have you made money doing this before?

Really it depends on the niche and products, it is just one more way to monetize keywords. It does tend to be a bit more difficult because instead of sending them to the actual seller you are handling part of the process your self.

1. yes, the competition it too much. I can no longer make profit in ebay.
2. I found that best directory is sellhoo
3. try not to sell product that requires maintenance

There are still some but limited opps with dropshipping, the bottom line is most of the suppliers have went on to ebay etc themselves so you are competing with the people selling to you?

If you can find a product you still have to get good ranking be it on ebay amazon or a niche site.

There is no easy way and very few products with good income left, I find that a dropship which pays $5 can be as hard to get as an affiliate product that pays $30.

However it all comes down to customers/traffic.

Good luck.

Thanks guys! I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. I'm gonna do more research and see what happens

The great thing about dropshipping and eCom in general is that I set the expectation/price to pay (not the customer). Yes, my products are being sold at a cheaper price on ebay and amazon but in that scenario the customer (and not the seller) sets the price to pay/expectation.This creates a endless struggle to the bottom in terms of price. However, I have my website and therefore can differentiate yourself and charge a much higher price. Its a simple strategy really.
