Are there any repercussions in helping watch time and sub counts? Like, if I bought followers on Insta or FB, it's kinda pointless. Does the same principle apply to YT?

You will not have any problems buying watchtime and subscribers on YouTube. You just need to make sure that what you decide to buy is of high quality.

If it is not food quality, it cam hamper the channel negatively.

If YouTube's algorithms detect the views, subs as bot generated, then your YouTube channel could be penalized.

Sometimes it can result in channel ban and that is why people suggest to buy only from trusted panels.
