Any decent writers here?

I guess I could have charged more. But, the fact of the matter is that I didn't, because I wanted a steady flow of work and it was difficult to solicit work at premium rates, especially on a forum like this.

I missed that comment you made. Yes, that's right, blackhatworld tends not to be a good place for the premium rate article rates. People here are looking for cheap bulk content. I get my clients elsewhere.

I personally think you're a good writer judging from your forum posts. There's a couple of grammatical points that you could fix if you were to read the site I posted for the other guy above, but you definitely have the natural writing gift, which is being able to convey your ideas clearly. Many people have good grammar, but they can't do that.

I'd be happy to tell you where I get my clients if you want to drop me a pm. You could quite happily charge $2.50/100 and get plenty of work in.

I was lucky enough to have a few great clients that were willing to give me big chunks of work. But, if I didn't have those clients and had to bump the thread on an every day basis, I have a feeling that it might have been tough going.

But, I guess I would try it in the future, if I ever reopen my article writing thread.

Nah, good writers are in such short supply. You'll always be able to get plenty of the type of clients who can keep you busy 24/7. :-) Even at $2.5/100 and up. Especially in the post-panda world.

If you want to make REALLY good money. $20/100 and upward then get really good at copywriting. :-) That's where the big bucks in writing are. I've got a couple of copywriting clients who pay me $20/100 to write their copy, and it's often 2000 words they want. Sadly that sort of work tends not to come in bulk orders, but if you build up enough clients like I'm trying to do then it can make up the bulk of your content work.
