The sign of a good lead caller is ALWAYS getting a bit more information than you started with.

ALOT of the callers don't know how to redirect and deflect awkward questions.

That results in wasted time and leads that get annoyed with telemarketers.

The main trick is having the verbal skill to sound like an average person.

once i try several time. You can do it!

I had a team of cold callers from the philippines. They all had experience and sounded like they had good English, but many of them were not that great when faced with serious objections. I had to train them from appointment setting to just getting the information like business owner name, best time to call, etc. and then I would follow up myself. They can definitely work well, depends on what you were selling. Since my technology is a little complicated, they weren't the best route to take...
