I mean like someone follow me, will auto send message to them telling them thanks for follow etc.

A friend of mine had one similar for Facebook but I don't know if there's one about twitter. I'd love one actually. following this thread

I am not sure if there is chrome extension for that but there are tools that can send automated messages like http://www.socialoomph.com/ and Crowdfire. However, I suggest you that you do this in moderation because your new follower might be annoyed with the automated message. Just make it as natural as possible. Sending direct automated messages can increase your productivity too though.

Crouwdfire used to have it, but I think they took it away because of twitter rules
