Any cheap .com domain?

why is Namecheap the best? I'm genuinely curious because I don't see many differences between domain registrars, some of them offer free whois, but other than this probably 99% of the registrars offer the same features for every .com purchase.

So, what is so "best" about NC if you don't mind me asking? Thanks!
Registers like go daddy have high renew fees and change extra for other features. First year the domain can be 2 bucks and renewal is 20. Want ssl 84 bucks yet free somewhere else.

With 100s of domains the fees add up

I'm not disagreeing on the Godaddy part (everyone knows what scumbags they are), but frankly, NC is not better either with their non-free SSL. I don't think that NC is the best domain registrar, and definitely not the best hosting provider either lately. But if you believe so...

I don't understand
are you purely basing them as the best via being the cheapest? or against ones like Godaddy who practices scam like tactics?

I understand OP asked for cheapest

Because at the very least, if I am looking in a domain registrar, to use properly and not as burns, I am factoring in their up-times, I'm not talking about the domain's uptimes but the actual websites.
Porkbun as an isolated example wouldn't be anywhere near the top of my list.
Between their manual login checks and website crashing whenever they are doing promos makes it unreliable.

Then we have security measures, customer support, data practices, policy for domain expiration, the actual infrastructure & then we also have the pricing.
Then we have some QoL like account management and website navigation.

Looking at price alone for best is just silly imo unless its for a burner :)

what promo code have you used?
I think they were running some kind of offer at that time. The only thing I'm sure of is that I was able to create a new account with them and got a .com domain for around $2.

the cheapest is sav.com, i own like 300 domains there. their prices are the lowest along cloudflare.
but sav.com is easier to manage the domains

godaddy is the most expensive, but very good for auctions...
namecheap is not better than sav.com

I used to use namesilo but they increased their prices several times

SAV is still the best

Try ifastnet its very cheap also they are easy to handle and fast enough..Have good service with them also..

Try nonalia. I got a .com domain for free. Offer is over but you can find .com domains for 0.90 usd

Check tld-list.com. They have prices for .com registrations and coupon codes. Also, if they let you, sign up for an account at the different Registrars. That way you'll be notified of any sales or new account offers.

Watch out for renewal price. Don't be fooled by cheap first year price

Cloudflare, they literally charge icann fees only. No markup including renewals
Just bought a .com domain from them yesterday. Was using namecheap. First year was fine with $8, second year they want $42 for the same domain. Cloudflare is much better.

Namecheap is the best for buying a domains .I also buy from them.
Regular price is 6.7$
