most registers will renew at the similar price, so you will get maybe a big discount for 1 year but after that you usually pay regularly

why is Namecheap the best? I'm genuinely curious because I don't see many differences between domain registrars, some of them offer free whois, but other than this probably 99% of the registrars offer the same features for every .com purchase.
