Supp everyone,

I have been running a FB group for the past 1 yaer, recently crossed 20k members then BOOOM!

The group was disabled and I can't seem to find any way to appeal.

I got a few warning that some of the group members was posting content that was violating intellectual property? I wasn't looking much into it thinking no big deal becasue FB already removed it and I can't seem to find the post that violated the rule.

Anyone got experience with this? And how to avoid this from happening again on my new group.

#pain.

Please try to moderate the post before they post it to your group.

moderators, someone you trust that can make the rules, also I know there is an option that ppost must go to approval in case moderators can't keep and eye all the time on what people is posting, but they need to check and approve the post manually.

You can try appealing through Facebook’s Help Center under “Disabled Groups.” To avoid this happening again, set clear rules for what members can post and consider having moderators to help keep an eye on things. This way, you can catch any issues before they blow up!

You can turn on moderation, when someone wants to post, they will have to go through censorship to post, that will help you control the number of posts and the content of that post.

Thanks everyone for the input, I have put submitted an appeal.

Issue is I don't have the manpower to moderate over 500 posts per day, so a lot would require Admin Assists to automate the process.

We will see how it goes.

Sadly, you can only ask for professional help to appeal that page for you, good luck

Turn on post moderation for your group. This will help you control the number and content of posts, reducing the risk of your group being restricted due to posts that violate policies.

Find group status emails from Facebook. There may be instructions for appealing a decision.

You should have strict content moderation rules.

Please review and approve the post before it goes live. If you don't have time, choose a moderator to do it for you. This will help you take control and detect the problem before it gets worse.

Does your team have many moderators? You must ensure that they understand the community standards and do not allow random posts to be approved, otherwise even if you have 10 groups, they will still be disabled

Have you noticed? Managing a group will be more difficult than managing a fanpage. You want your group to be less likely to be disabled, so posts in the group need to be highly moderated. Not all topics can be posted in the group. That's why a lot of groups have moderators, usually a disabled group will be difficult to get back if the main reason is violating community standards, create a new group and make your own rules

It's quite unfortunate if that group is a natural join. If there is a notice of violation of the rules, it will be quite difficult to get it back. You can create a new group and have someone censor the content

Thanks everyone for commenting.

While I appreciate the input, but it appears apparent that most of you guys don't even read the post?

I was talking about intellectual property violation, if you just gonna give generic "moderate your group" or "approval before posting" then please don't bother posting.
