The only games you will ever need (as of 2013):
1. COD (I prefer the Modern Warfare arc but the Black Ops games are ok-ish)
2. Madden (comes out every year).
3. NHL (comes out every year).

If you love RPG games go for the Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2. There is also a new Tales game which is Tales of Xillia.

For PS3:
Gran Turismo 5 (I know it's old, but it's the sickest gaming game I've ever played)
Assassins Creed 2 and Brotherhood (They're pretty old but it's alright to play for a little bit reminds you of good times)
PC:
Far Cry 3 is absolutely amazing
Assassins Creed 3 and Revelations ( I find Revelations to be sicker but ultimately, it's your opinion)
Sleeping Dogs
Shift 2 is an alright racing game however, doesn't even come close to Gran Turismo 5
GTA 4

for ps3 get the uncharted series(1,2 and 3) plus the last of us.made by the same company and all scored 10/10 with most reviews with good reason.amazing games.cant go wrong with them

I have 159 steam games. I only play Fallout 3, Just Cause 2 and Garry's Mod
