My site was ranking in the 3rd position (1st page) for a nice keyword. The blog had original content:

    Pages/visit 1.21
    Average Time on site 00:00:22
    Bounce Rate 84.21%

Stats from analytics (users coming from searching the keyword)

Today Im on the 3rd page for the term and getting 0 visitors for it, so I changed the blog theme, and Im going to add some more pictures. Will google ever give me a chance to come back to the top and is there any bh method to increase the bounce rate?

why would u want to increase the bounce rate ??? it should be decreased not increased... the lower it is the better it is :p

on topic: PPC i guess.. for low bounce rate you need real traffic, real humanoids that stay on your website more than 45 seconds and go through the process of click click click click... ;)

    cheers.

yeah, i meant decrease it. I keep mixing up the two. Im guessing a program which connects via proxies and searches through all the pages until it reaches my site and then clicks it and stays for a while would work?

well i don't know how smart is that thing... the search engines especially YOU-Know-WHO :D aren't stupid at all... just feed the G Man and buy some PPC :p

or search BHW... i've seen somebody sold 10k real visitors for $100 or so ...

    cheers...

Ill think about buying some traffic. What if they stay on the page for 50 seconds but dont click any other links. Then just close the browser (instead of clicking back) what would that do to the bounce rate?
