Any Betfair Masters Here?

Hey Everybody,

I was wondering if any of you is having success placing bets on Betfair. I placed a small bet of $20 yesterday for the first time, lost all of it lol. I prefer 'Backing' rather than 'Laying' a bet.

So is anyone feeling generous enough to share some tips to win more and loose less?

Laying lets you lock in a profit if you are proved right or to minimise a loss if you are wrong (though usually if this happens, the price has already moved WAY against you).

Check out punterslounge, good betting forum.

Look for value in a bet. Many people think "the favourite is the best". Actually, the favourite is usually a crap price.

So every bet you look at, you should think "hmm, people are underestimating this guy's chances of winning, the price is too good". If you do this consistently then you will win in the long term.

Don't tell me you are talking about automated bots to place bets! That sounds too risky, is it true?

you can back and then lay (or vice versa) for a nice profit. It is called trading the odds and Betfair is one of the best betting exchange out there.
There are hudrents of strategies and systems that you could use. For example take a look at lay the draw or pre match trading systems.
Everything needs studying though

I don't know a good BF robot that works. There are a lot of them but I don't think they can make money in the long run without manual intervention.
I believe in a semi automated bots!
