So after a recent paypal problem, I added a crypto option for receiving payments on one of my sites. I added coinpayments. I added it because I've been using it without issues for 2 years, because they have an API HTML code I can use to code the payment thing. It works well.

But I did the process of making a payment with it, and I don't know, let's just say it's not as clear-cut as doing it with gaypal for example.

Well anyway, my understanding is that anyone can pay me with crypto like this, whether they're paying from their personal wallet or an exchanger.

But I'm no crypto expert, and I'm wondering, would there be any benefit of adding some more crypto options for payments together with Coinpayments, such as Coinbase or any other?

Thanks

Yes no I don't know :D

There are ways to add bitcoin on your website for payment try coinpay or search google you will find many on there

Yeah, I know there are ways, thank you.

What I'm asking is whether it would be beneficial to add on a website more than 1 method to pay with crypto.

So for example, you add Coinpayments, and Coinbase, and a third one, etc. Or would adding 1 of them be all the same and enough.?

It’s isn’t normal to have same coin wallets ok yiur platform since all comes in to yiur desk,it will look more of scam when you add lots of coin wallets

Hm, okay, fair enough.

But say someone has crypto on Coinbase, and I offer payments with Coinpayments. So now they have to send from Coinbase to Coinpayments.

Could that incur a higher fee than if they were sending Coinbase-to-Coinbase, or Coinpayments-to-Coinpayments? Or is the fee all the same?

Direct platform exchange will always have there advantage more greater than the inter platform exchange, yiu can get all money once you need to cashout no need of resending to another platform or wallets

Yeah, I'm not asking about withdrawing money. I plan on holding for a million years :p

Aha, so there would be a benefit adding multiple crypto payment options then, either for me or/and for the customer, because of the lower fee if the payment is made from the same exchanger to the same exchanger.

I see your point. Convenience for whoever's paying right? Which makes sense

Don't forget that there are people who hold coins in wallets that don't offer payment processing, so they'll still have to do inter platform transfer anyways.

My take? Start with the most popular or just roll a dice, you can add a suggestion box for people if they want more options in the future. You can as well start with three and see if all three get the same level of action, if not, you can drop the least used.

Yeah, convenience for the payer, and lower fees if the payment is made from the same site to the same site (coinbase-to-coinbase, coinpayments-to-coinpayments). At least I think there should be lower fees for same-site transfers.

I already had Coinpayments, and I decided to also add Coinbase. I think these two should be good enough for now. The only other one that comes to mind is Binance, though I don't even have an account there :)

By experience, I can tell you people use BTC, ETH or LTC 99% of the time. So I'd go for these 3 !

I wasn't asking about which cryptos to accept. I accept the 3 you mentioned, and a handful of others.

The question was about whether it's worth it to add more than 1 methods of accepting payments with crypto.

Anyway, I had Coinpayments already, and I also added Coinbase. I guess that's enough.

The only other one that comes to mind is Binance, but I'm not sure if they have like a buy button I can add on my website. Coinpayments has a nice HTML code that can be added, and Coinbase has their commerce site where I could create packages. Not sure if Binance has something like that. But never mind, I'm good with Coinpayments and Coinsbase, for now.

Why not also use an Unstoppable Domain?
Tell them which cryptos you accept and they just send it to scorpionghost.crypto or w/e name you choose.

You can get problems using coinbase too.
Even with the other one so always try to use a wallet that gives you your private key
