you can get emails with software , no one stopping you, it just email spam not really read these days.
can try why not.
try the misc for a email scrapper or look in members download section .
a lot of good programmers stopped there app as it was just clased as spamming .

Wait, is it really illegal and not just black hat? Are you saying I could get in legal trouble simply for spamming?
What do you think is the best way to get opt ins? I wouldn't have a website, I would try to sell to them personally.

Depends on what country you are in. For example in the US, it is NOT illegal to cold email someone, but this same rule maybe different in other countries for example in Australia it is. It's doable if you have deep pockets, and are prepared for the troubles that accompany it. In my opinion it's not really worth it. I'll much rather spam the heck outta social media platforms, than focus on emails spamming. That way, you have less trouble, as you do not have to deal with poor email delivery, anti spam nonesense! etc.

Not to mention that there are different methods of spamming. I don't want to spam CPA, affiliate products or scams or phishing. None of that.
I want to personally try my hand at domaining, i.e. selling domains via scraping by keyword -> sending message to scraped emails. There are people in the domaining world who use targeted emailing and they make sales from it. I though automated spamming is a step up. I have a good feeling about it as I've gotten replies when manually sending mails, and that was a very low number of mails.
This is what I'm attempting to do. Since you seem to be an experienced spammer, what advice can you give me? What program should I use? What kind of accounts to I need to send from? Also, I'm from the EU, is that going to be troublesome?
Yeah but what does ''in trouble'' mean? I can't seem to find a clarification on that.

Well, firstly, spamming (that is, broadcasting offers to people who did not subscribe to you, or when you do not have permission to email them) is a violation of the CAN-SPAM act. Some individuals who are aware of reporting it will forward your spam email to FTC. So if you're situated in the U.S, you can be prosecuted. If it is in the EU, then you're violating the GDPR law. And if you're living in anywhere that's part of the EU, you can be prosecuted.
Yes, the FTC can force email sending services (or VPS service providers if you're using your own email server) to reveal the offender's particulars - your name, where you live, and what not. There, is where they will track you down and prosecute you.
But what if you're outside of the U.S? Are you still safe?
Sadly, still no. Not because the FTC can get you (unless you're like the email spam king, then they can get Interpol to assist, but unlikely), but someone can report it to your affiliate network, say Amazon, and they can suspend your account since it counts as 'spam' and it is a violation against their TOS.

What does ''prosecuted'' actually mean? I would have to pay a big fine? I would be selling domains personally so they would find out without FTC interaction.
But damn, I never knew spam was illegal, it's kind of a surprise to me. I thought botting social media and youtube was worse, but that's legal. It's kind of hard for me to cope wit hthe fact that emailing is considered worse.
I live in the EU.

Spamming does work . And depending on the country you are from and also the type of content you send people it may be illegal.
In the US it is not illegal to send someone unsolicited emails . Spamming is the essence of any type of bulk marketing and even huge companies do it .
The key is not spamming itself, but targeted spamming and not carpet bombing., though there is always the numbers game people like to play but it takes a lot of unnecessary resources to do this vs targeting your campaigns.
And remember, every time you delete or report a spam email you destroy the hopes and dreams of an internet marketer

Everyone here accepts FB group spam, reddit spam, youtube etc. Even CPA (tricking people into doing something and not giving them anything in return) is acceptable, I really struggle to understand why email spam is worse.

I'm from EU and I would personally sell digital assets, let's say. No websites, no phishing, no scams, no cpa etc. I would just attempt to sell domain names. What do you think of that?

Not so, you can legally email any business you want in the US, provided you follow the can-spam act. They do not have to be an opt-in to email them.
