I'm looking for any Aussies here we does Affiliate Marketing.

I need to ask you a few questions about Australia Affiliate Marketing and lookingfor a JV with someone thanks!:sombrero:

Im from Australia, but I am not looking for a JV. Just read the forums and gain knowledge that way.

For starters: Pick a niche, obtain a website, do keyword research, create articles around those keywords, get backlinks, internal linking, put up your aff links, BE PATIENT. Continue to do kw research, adding more backlinks and you will gain more visitors. Visitors = potential $$$

Hey, I'm in Melbourne. As above, not looking for a JV just yet, am working on a WSO at the moment. But just wanted to shout out to my fellow Aussie BH'ers!

What do you need help with? Can you build sites? (even just putting up word press themes?)

I don't know if you're completely new to affiliate marketing, but here's what I did when starting out. I apologise if you're way past this

Quick tip: Find one thing. STICK WITH IT. be it CPA/adsense/article writing. DO NOT try and do everything at once. You will also not have success straight away (and if you do, well congrats)

I recommend joining an Australian-based affiliate program:

(clixgalore/commission monster/dgm), finding a local niche (homeloan, credit card, debt consolidation, mobile phones.. etc), from a brand you are familiar with. This way you know what you're promoting.

Then, upload a wordpress theme (http://www.wpbeginner.com - and here are some awesome free themes http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/05/18/100-amazing-free-wordpress-themes-for-2009/. Add content based AROUND the offer. Example, if you're promoting an offer for Three Australia on mobile phones, talk in general about MOBILE PHONES. not how good the offer is. Put a banner ad up the top of your site, and a simple call to action at the end of each category/article/blog post. Something easy like "I find three to currently have the best deals on iphones/nokias/sony ericssons. Click here"

Getting traffic is the hard part. Do you have an adwords account? If so, use the new keyword tool as it is very comprehensive. If not, then go here: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. Type in a keyword up the top that circulates around the offer. Make sure your settings are:
Location: Australia
Keywords: Exact

If you can afford ppc, chose the cheapest keywords (with or without local search volume). There are heaps of resources on the net for how to manage a good ppc campaign. If you need help, ask me and I'll provide.

If you can't afford PPC, use the keywords with good monthly search volume, and write 3-5 articles per day based around them. Submit the articles to ezine/wetpaint/squidoo/hubpages, with all of them linking to your website. Over time, you will get traffic and sales.

Easy? Not really. Fun? Not really.

Potential to earn good money? Yes really

I'm also from Country Vic. Been reading stuff here for ages and just starting up doing blogging. Just doing pretty much exactly what Versus said but I'm using Clickbank for my affiliate products (because I havent bothered to register elsewhere yet). Haven't earnt anything yet but I'm pretty optomistic that I got atleast enough relevant information from BHW to get me earning something from it
