How do you guys promote your stuff? I think that our niche is a bit different if we compare it with other niches. I am using Instagress, well not now because it's fucked up (not liking fast etc). I started with the follow/unfollow thing but I think that is more delicate here, some users get pissed sometimes, and very usually are people close to well known artists or artists themselves. I get some sales from FB, Dribbble and Behance, but my main resource by far is Instagram, and it's a bit scary lmao.

I'm quite new to instagram. So I can't say much. The only thing i've been doing is manually liking lots of shit every now and then. I think it works.
I don't do follow/unfollow at all. As you might know it really annoys people. It's a small industry. You're right not to do that.
Dribbble is long gone. There're only UX / UI people on dribbble.
For me Behance is the main stream, instagram can hardly come close.
Bust most of my big proper above-the-line advertising campaigns (billboard kind of ad campaigns) are all from Behance.
Good thing is, I know for sure, it's super easy to monetise than accounts on other niches, as all brands want artists to talk about them.

How do you advertise on Behance?
What i mean is the advertising agencies spend hours and hours everyday on behance looking for artists.
If it's genuine good work, the curation team will feature the projects. It's not organic.
No you can't advertise on Behance. Different rule of game.

So how do you monetise it? How many followers do you have?
About 82k followers on behance, 5k on instagram (embarrasing, but I start working on it)
At the end of the day... good work speaks.

Hey thanks.
(Might be a bit lame to say) i've started early (in 2011). Lots of my friends started early got big numbers too.
Same with instagram. Some artists with boring work, but started early also have good results.
Oh well.
Any tip how to up the instagram numbers?

follow/unfollow/like targeted hashtags related to my kind of work which is black and white
the next step i want to start a professional engagement group 1k+ for art niche profiles which i think ill do in the next weeks and be done in a month from now, ill send each of you guys here a pm if its on, it will be free to join
