    Hi Folks,

Are there any eBay sellers Dropshipping from Amazon on here? I just have a few questions about the account side of things.

    1. What is the realistic line on Amazon Dropshipping - what to eBay think of it?
    2. How do you handle problem buyers who complain because the item came from Amazon?
    3. Is it an issue that a competitor can buy and cancel a bunch of orders on you to fuck your account? How do you combat this?

An in general - is dropshipping a successful business? I don't think i'll be rich from it but is it a decent method to make some extra money.

    Thanks in advance guys.

    1. eBay doesn't like it. Lot of DS scammers in the past

It's within their TOS but they'll keep a closer watch on your account. Much better to tell them that you buy in liquidation/wholesale

    2. This never happens but if it does, just let them know that you ship your items using Fulfillment By Amazon

    3. It can be if you don't know what you're doing. When you go in to revise your listings you can check the require immediate payment from buyer option. Pretty much makes your store safe from competitor warfare

    Cool, thanks.

I did look into a bunch of DS sellers and see they all have negative feedback based on Amazon packaging. Not a lot mind you.

I'm wondering that if I include a clause in the terms and conditions that I may use "FBA" to ship packages if I am out of stock. Then perhaps if they make negative feedback, they may be less likely to be negative. I guess that usually you could get it removed by eBay but if they don't like DS they may not oblige.

The other thing I was thinking is to message all my buyers about 1 day after they purchase.. I would notify them the item is out of stock and that it will be sent from FBA. This might throw some people off the scent.

Also be ready to provide invoices and maybe ID. ID can be purchased on BHW, and invoices can easily be done by yourself (photoshop).

What do I need them for? I will use legitimate identities (ie. myself and maybe a corporation).

    Whats the deal with invoices?

The VERO program gives the rights holder to a trademark pretty much absolute right to control who can sell it on eBay. If eBay asks you to prove that you have the right to sell an item, and you can't provide it, then they can shut you down, if even if your products are 100% legit.

That means, if you sell ANY branded products that you yourself don't own the copyrights to, you are subject at any time eBay asking you where you obtained your inventory and verify your ID by sending in documents. Sometimes it's nothing, sometimes you've already been banned and it's just a mere formality. It greatly depends on what you sell. For example, there are only 18 companies in US authorized to sell legit new Apple merchandise online. So you start selling a bunch of new apple stuff, and they ask you for a invoices of where you got them, you have already been banned.

You need to research what you can and can not sell on eBay in branded products. It's MUCH safer to sell generic stuff, but it's more work sourcing and selling them obviously.

What charges? I have worked out that I can profit given the current charges.

Also, if you open a store for a fixed monthly price, you can list more items, bringing the cost down further.

On top of that, once you have sufficient volume, your PayPal fees will fall also.

I guess, you might mean that the there is only a small profit to be made per each transaction. That is true and why volume is so important.
