I'm wondering what kindda costs and time I'm gonna need to invest for my own cpa network ? I have the connections and shit like that and the cpa marketing skillz , I know a shit load of advertisers personally and big time affiliates . What I need to know is the cost and the time I'm gonna need to invest .

If any one of you network owners mind sharing your experiences with a fellow BHer , it would be lovely . :greddy2:

It really depends on how you start it, on which platform, and how quickly it grows.
If you use Directtrack or Linktrust it'll be $5-10k to start and a couple thousand per month I think. HasOffers is cheaper. If you go custom, expect to pay $15k+ I would guess.

The main thing is floating cash to pay your affiliates. But it's easy to figure out. If you plan to do $100k in revenue, then you basically need $100k in liquid cash. Lots of variables though in terms of when you're getting paid and when you're paying your affiliates. And of course you have to plan for contingencies.
 
I think I can handle couple grand a month . But why would I need to float payments if advertisers are on prepay ?

I'll be using hasoffers , cause it's cheap .

You're not likely to find advertisers who prepay.
Some small ones who are desperate for traffic, sure, but not most.

okay , say I get advertisers at biweekly pay , then I could pay affs monthly ? Wouldn't that allow me to not need to float payments ?
 
sometimes saying is easier than doing it. if your network is new, without reputation and traffic isnt that much, what's the chance of getting paid earlier?

True , so I suppose it'll be better for me to just limit affiliates traffic then at an amount I can handle to float .
 
You might require a number of things just before applying to a CPA network. Create a site, it can be a blog with a handful of posts, or a normal web site. Be positive that it's yours. You may need to have your own domain name, and hosting provider prior to the best CPA networks will take you seriously. Have answers for their questions too. They'll typically call you to ask when you know what that you are doing. Just be extremely confident, and answer the questions honestly. This is CPA networking at its greatest.
