I am a finance broker that also sells repo'd trucks and equipment. I did well advertising the financing part on CL for the past year but CL has recently become too difficult to deal with plus my situation is different now. I have roughly 700 assets available, ranging from sleepers to dumptrucks, Bobcats, cement trucks etc. (All types of commercial eqpt. and trucks). The bank is now more interested in Cash buyers than financing. Which is perfect for ebay. I am very new to the ebay thing - so far have listed 8 assets at about $25 a listing and only 1 meeting the reserve price. I only made $800 on the deal minus the $200 over the period of 3 weeks = I've read through the forum for over a week now. I've gathered enough info to know there is a much better way to go about it. I just don't know where to begin? Everyone on here is so smart and creative with marketing, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. I am the only broker that the bank will deal with giving me exclusive sales on 700 assets. 150 of which are in very good condition + good priced. Any Advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,

you might try to combine your listings, many people looking at this type of sale on ebay are individuals, but there are also several small business owners who cannot afford to go out and buy all new equipment, combine a couple and sale a bobcat and say a skid steer, or a dump truck and front end loader. You obviously have a lot to move and selling it one by one and meeting with 700 people could take up alot of time but if you could sell 2, 3, or more pieces at one time you will be reducing your listing fees and cutting down on number of transactions ie meetings. Put in listing if anyone is not interested in buy group that you will sell any piece individually as well, that way you wouldnt miss sells and could just swap out whatever you sold and edit listing. Just an idea, may work.
