Its a selfish mentality. Humans are social beings that need companionship and raising a family just the way you are here because your mom and dad got together. Find a woman who is ready to start a family. Also if she comes from functional family its a plus.
Everyone has their own journey, and choosing to stay single or not start a family can be a conscious and valid choice. It doesn't necessarily stem from selfishness but from self-awareness about one's goals, values, and readiness for such commitments.
It's your life, you have to decide what is more important to you. Anyone can tell you what they will be looking for but you have to find out what you actually want..
