Any advice on my first niche site?

Hey everyone. I actually signed up because I wanted you all's advice. This is my first post so don't tear into me. I'm kind of worried about whether I'll be able to make money on my site. I know it's early but I worry a lot. Anyway, How do I turn my visitors into potential customers (get them to click)? Is my traffic that low because It's a new site or because I am not doing something right. My niche is "Video Games" It's only been live for 4 days but I have 0 Adsense Clicks and only 5 Amazon Clicks (but no buys). I've been working hard and taking advice from (this site's url):



  • /blackhat-seo/making-money/668588-method-my-new-tumblr-money-making-method.html
  • /blackhat-seo/social-networking-sites/641929-making-money-tumblr-right-white-hat-way.html
  • /blackhat-seo/making-money/498661-method-make-easy-money-tumblr-perfect-newbies.html

Here's the traffic for the first few days:
  • Day 1: 072 total hits
  • Day 2: 187 total hits 244 page views
  • Day 3: 298 total hits 336 page views
  • Day 4: 440 total hits 509 page views
My routine:
  • Write the best article I can.
  • Insert my amazon links (if any).
  • Publish.
  • Post on Fb.
  • Post on Twitter.

  1. Run iMacro auto favorite
  2. Reply to tweets.
  3. Take request. (I've even received a request which I did publish the very next day).

  • Follow 150-200 on tumblr
  • Like 200-300 tumblr posts
Questions: What can I do to increase my traffic? I've joined reddit so now I'll be submitting my posts to their proper subreddits. I'm worried about following a bunch of twitter accounts because I've heard of people losing their accounts that way. Also, how do I get FB traffic? I'm sorry if I sound so foolish. Also, would it be safe for me to post the name or should I PM?

I've not tried getting traffic from twitter and Facebook so I cannot comment on that but I feel that you should try ranking your site up on google. I got my first sale after 3 months with about 90 clicks on amazon with organic traffic from google.
 
Visitor who come from Fb & twitter usually like content which is entertaining & attractive but not informative & boring.. I don't say all of the traffic but yes most of the topic.. Without having to see your website it is very difficult to say anything.. Might be the content which you are sharing is not good enough.. Might be ads have not been placed properly.. PM me the URL of your website..
 
It won't let me send a message until i've posted 14 more times but here it is hYYp // w4: SlackerReviews .TLD When I first signed up it said to post my url's kind of like that.

Also, here's my stats for the 5th day: 594 total hits and 731 page views. no adsense and 4 new amazon clicks (no purchase). I realize this is still my first week but I'm just thinking that one of my banners should have been clicked, right. I have one at the top of the site and in the sidebar.
 
I'd advise you to check out the "Meathead1234" thread that is sticky at the tip of the "Making Money" section. You will learn a lot. This is the method that I am doing now btw. Make sure you check out the update for 2015 (on the original post).

Yeah, he actually inspired me to join this site and start giving it my best efforts. I haven't read the update yet. Thanks!

People become banner blind, you are probably gonna get more clicks via text links.
 
It seems like it. My amazon text links have been the only one's clicked so far.
 
Thank you guys. Apparently I reached a mile stone of 1000 page views (787 hits)on day 6. I'm pretty proud of that even if it's a bit slow. I've been working on my SEO and titling my headers. I also got my first really good back link. It's going to quote one of my reviews with a link to my website. Thanks for all of your advice. Peace and prosperity.
