Antidetect browser effectiveness

With so many antidetect browsers available now, have you noticed any decrease in effectiveness compared to a few years ago? How does it compare to cloud phones like duoplus, geelark etc?

Antidetect browsers still work but feel less effective than a few years ago as platforms get smarter. Cloud phones (like Duoplus, Geelark) often look more natural since they mimic real devices, but they come with higher costs and setup needs.

The effectiveness of antidetect browsers hasn’t really dropped—it’s just that platforms got smarter. A few years ago, changing the User-Agent was often enough; now you need a fully consistent fingerprint: Canvas, WebGL, timezone, language, behavior, etc. Cloud phones (like DuoPlus, Geelark) are trending because they offer real mobile environments, making it easier to bypass detection on TikTok, Facebook, etc. Bottom line: the tools still work, but proper setup is way more critical now. I personally still use Gologin without any issues
 
If your work is mainly on websites from a computer, use an antidetect browser.
But if you're focused on mobile apps, like managing TikTok accounts, then a cloud phone is the right choice.
 
I have been using mobile devices for quite some time - got about 45 of them running for my accounts. And you know what? They work really great. The only problem is… I seriously need a box to keep all this under control. Right now, the phones are all over the desk, the shelves, everywhere; they are virtually staring at me like, "Bro, organize your life." :D:D
 
Yep, I’ve noticed anti‑detect browsers feel less foolproof now platforms are smarter with fingerprinting.
Anti-detect is still useful for light multi‑account work, but for high-risk or large-scale setups, cloud phones give better longevity.

Actually, there is no such thing as a true “anti-detect” browser. Browsers are, in fact, the weakest tools you can rely on for avoiding detection. Many people believe that simulating human behavior inside a browser somehow makes them safe, but this usually comes from a lack of technical understanding. They often have no real knowledge of networking, fingerprinting, or modern security systems used by large platforms.

The same is true for proxies. Most people think proxies magically “hide” the original source, but that is not how modern detection systems work. A proxy only changes the IP, it does not fix your TLS fingerprints, TCP/HTTP stack. Platforms profile thousands of signals far beyond the IP address.

You may ask: “Then why do some people use anti-detect browsers or buy ‘clean’ proxies and still get acceptable results?”
The answer is simple: it depends on what they consider a “good result.”

If 5% profit is “good,” then sure, it might look like it works. It also depends on how many actions they perform per hour/day and how aggressive the behavior is.

But if your goal is a scalable, stable, high-profit operation, consumer-grade anti-detect tools and proxy rotations will never be enough. At scale, platforms use advanced detection systems based on:
  • full-stack fingerprinting (browser, OS, GPU, fonts, WebRTC, canvas/audio, etc.)
  • low-level networking fingerprints (TLS ClientHello, JA3/JA4, TCP/IP signatures)
  • behavioral analysis and machine-learning models
  • reputation scoring and identity graphing
  • long-term correlation across accounts, IPs, and devices
Bottom line: if you want to build a reliable, scalable, and profitable system, you must be genuinely professional in these fields. That means real expertise in:
  • reverse engineering
  • low-level programming
  • networking and protocol analysis
  • browser internals
  • fingerprinting evasion
  • large-scale automation design
And you shouldn't use automated browser systems :)
 
Antidetect browsers can be effective if configured correctly.
But poor setup can still get detected easily.

Antidetect browsers still work, but platforms now look at behavior, IP quality, and account history — not just fingerprints. So it’s easier to get flagged if you’re not careful.

Cloud phones are more reliable since they simulate a full real device, not just a browser. Harder to detect, but slower and more expensive.
 
The real problem isn't antidetect browsers specifically — it's that budget tools reuse tiny fingerprint pools, and platforms just blacklist common canvas/WebGL signatures after seeing them on thousands of flagged accounts. GoLogin and Dolphin generate unique per-profile fingerprints which actually holds up much better. Cloud phones win for high-value aged accounts because hardware entropy is genuine, but for bulk work good antidetect + residential proxies is still the practical choice.
