Anthropic Banned My Account

As the title says, my Anthropic account was recently banned. I wanted to check if anyone else in the forum has had a similar experience.

• If you appealed the ban, how did it go?
• Did you succeed in getting your account reinstated, or was the support unhelpful?
• Did you user the same card/address?
• Any other problems?

I have never been banned but know someone who develops for and through Claude. Depends on what you were banned for doing. They are particularly unforgiving if you tried to use bots or automate a function and with commercial violations like reselling or account-sharing. If it is more subjective i.e. concerning the content you generated, then you will most likely see your account get reinstated.

Why do you think they did it? No need to tell the specifics - just the general "violation" they might had you banned for.
