AnswerSwipe - faster & better than AnswerAssault?

Hi,

I came across AnswerSwipe (answerswipe[.]com) yesterday. Has anyone tried it yet? Looks like it was just released one or two days ago.

It is a tool that does the same job as AnswerAssault but it's supposed to be faster, slicker and more reliable.
The description and the video look pretty good so far, if everything is correct it is truly much more advanced than AA. I received a license yesterday but I haven't been able to use it yet because of some *.dll issue (but .Net 4 is installed)... according to the developer I'm one of the first users who got a license and it's an early release, there will be a couple of updates in the next few days to fix any issues. Hope the next update will fix the problem for me.

Does anyone already have a running version and can comment on the "better/quicker/more reliable than AnswerAssault"?

Why did you buy a new YA tool if you already had AnswerAssault?
Is AnswerAssault not any good?

Some may say your post looks promotional.

Because I am still in my 30-day money back period with AnswerAssault and I I'm not too happy with the support of the German version of YA.

Again: I haven't been able to try it yet, though I am not recommending it... I would just like to know if anyone successfully tried it and can comment on the tool and say if it lives up to the promises on the website.

If i'd try to do promo, I would most-likely say that I am already using it and it runs perfectly? Seriously, just because I found a new tool that hasn't been mentioned here before you think I am doing promotion? Great. I assumed sharing would be one of the basic ideas of this forum and you guys would be happy to get information on new stuff.

Not sure how its perform and $97 for a little guy is a little high for me but sure with his advance features there will be not any competitor reaching that accurate.

Okay, got it running, had to install .Net 3.5 as well.

After playing around with it for about an hour I can say (in comparison to YAA):

+ it is really fast, easily beats YAA
+ interface is a bit more useful IMHO
+ built-in proxy checker
+ proxy options, e.g. "rotate every x posts, seconds, onclick"
+ supports 15(?) localized versions of yahoo answers (YAA: 4)
+ cheaper
- yahoo account creator (it's a standalone tool) can't rotate proxies, you can only fill in one
- it only gave me an error message instead of a captcha when using a proxy (I tried different public proxies)
- you can't assign proxies to accounts.. don't know if it matters but I like that option in YAA, makes it look kinda "natural"
--- appears to be very buggy, got errors during posting questions and answers, worked sometimes, sometimes not

To put it together: I can't really recommend to buy AnswerSwipe at this point.. not because of the functionality, simply because there are still a lot of bugs in it. I got a lot of errors, could not work effectively with it. But: once the bugs are killed it will be a great tool for yahoo answers.. and IMHO superior to YAA. Especially the speed really impressed me.

look good, but it not cheaper than Yahoo Answer Assault
However, it runs faster, I think so !!!

i have not used it yet, but answer assault was my choice before it, it might be better version of it still if anyone got experience with answer swipe, do share

Thanks for your review. Apologies for any misunderstanding; there have been threads started on here by people claiming its a review, but are really promoting stuff.

Looks like Answer Swipe has potential, but development has some way to go. Also, on the Answer Assault sales thread, the developer seems to be releasing a new version.

Yes, But why they do not upgrade AA for better ?
They develop a new software, sell it and forget it ? Is it profesional ?
I don't think so. WHy they make Answer Swipe while they having Answer Assault ?

I can confirm that Answer Swipe is not the promised new version of Answer Assault that will be releasing shortly. An official announcement will be made shortly. No biggie

Though, rather than rejecting our competitors we like to embrace them. So all Answer Assault will be able to upgrade to Answer Swipe for a significantly lower fee once it is released.

HI there, I got both AAssult and ASwipe but I do not understand this Competition? It is the same "news window" popup for a ASwipe and AAssult? Is this software rehashing? Samesoft new name same owner?

I dont get it either. Ive got Answer Assault and its never really worked properly for me. So ive been waiting for the updated V2 and now AnswerSwipe appears from the same makers (so it seems)

I think the first post for V2 of Answer Assault was a release date of around mid January...and another post a week or so ago suggesting a couple of days. but nothing has appeared yet.

And now we can pay $20 to upgrade our Answer Assault to Answer Swipe. Really doesnt sound right to me.

I think Yahoo Answer Assault may be quicker?

Take a look at the latest version, 1.0.1.7 - you should start noticing some clear advantages at this point (i.e account creation, speed, anonymity etc). I won't talk anymore about AS, and I'll let Rockong discuss that as he knows more about the development than I do.

In regards to Answer Assault 2.0, it's still on track. I posted a brief sneak peak of some of the new features a week or so ago, and will be releasing some more very soon. I've been reading through dozens and dozens of support tickets over the months, in the interest of finding things that can be improved. For this reason, I decided it's time to invest in a new development team.

These things do take some time, but it'll be worth the wait. Promise!

Crazy thread going on! Just wanted to chime in on the conversation: Answer Swipe is created by my development team, but we teamed up with AA for advice/tips along the way in terms of bringing it to the market. Eric found us early and saw that the Swipe development team used a different programming that would make the software much faster so he reached out to us.

Everyone, at the end of the day, we're looking to help out the YA community in general, and that's why we constantly look for YA innovators to keep it going (I'm in discussions with several individuals that have great ideas to help the Yahoo Answers marketers even more - exciting stuff but no news will be released until something is finalized).

I see no reason for any backlash for this. Because at the end of the day, we're just trying to help all of you. If you're a current user, then you receive an insanely cheap low price of Swipe. And if you're not interested in Swipe, then at least the onset of Swipe has brought about the implementation of AA 2.0 for current users. So we're clearly trying to take good care of all current users.

As for future users, they have the option of purchasing two different software and it's really up to them which one they want.

There's no real LOSE for anyone.

Whats the main difference between the two except for speed?

I use answer assault, it is ok for me, May be it is better to try this answer swipe, seems that you are promoting it
