I've been researching about Edward Snowden lately.
And a interesting question came to my mind. I can't be sure of the potential answer.
Let's say a citizen of a x country, has a series of leaked information about a x country, which is potentially wanted by the US. And that information is greatly benefical and they approach him for that or other way around. There's only one rule this guy got in order to give out the info, he wants the citizenship.
What would the be the action US authorities take in this scenario, realistically? Not NO, can't do this bs. Like, would he be granted citizenship, like behind the scenes? What can be the ultimate reason, they would let you settle in US soil and give you away the citizenship without just even afford to qualify for all that burocratic process?
