Heh, wouldnt be my software :P. Would be pumping out too many answers with a new account more then likely.

Small Suggestion: Sort by time feature just sorts by number - does not take into account whether 1 minute or 1 hour or 1 day. so 3 mins is placed below 1 hour. If possible pls fix it.

wow, this just solved a huge problem

EDIT: This script is taking up a 25% processor resource constantly even when it appears to be idle. Hope its not collecting info from my computer and passing them on to you :)

No. That isnt what this is used for.

When you first open, or after you start? Most of the CPU probably goes to the banner ad at the top. Which is actually a fully functioning Internet Explorer + the fact its an animation.,

Thats easy. But the problem is that none of you would use it intelligently. It would just be spam this spam that. And then ontop of that, fully automating it would bring up bugs every now and again that i would have to fix, and im lazy :P.

Probably not the whole thing. I can explain how i did it though. This is nothing unique in this app however, its just all standard stuff.

This might be very useful to make 2nd level accounts and sell it..

looks like a good start, i'd say if it's effective then you'd want to build in the ability to answer from the application.

also.. just a suggestion, i know it's a side project you were just fucking around with, you should get into the habit of building in error handling.

in addition using even the most basic obfuscater will make it more challenging for people to completely decompile your .net code. 'dofuscator' actually ships with visual studio.

I rarely do error handling. Ever. Unless its for coding purposes. If the code works right, then there wont be errors. If there is, then there is a bug, and i need to fix it :P.

And yeah i do obfuscate using dotfuscator, just not this particular app. Its not that important. Applications i sell i use it on though :)

About :
What can i say, I got bored :). I was fiddling around testing the waters to see how much traffic yahoo answers really gets. I dont particularly use it on a day to day basis, but have other people that generate up to 1k uniques per day with very little effort. What i quickly found, is that if i had a niche topic, with niche keywords. I was only getting one result per search on yahoo, sure i could get more keywords. But i still had to search one at a time. So i developed this software to basically pull back a huge list of questions for me to answer.

How To Use :

  1. Make a massive list of keywords.
  2. Input them into the application.
  3. Select your search type.
  4. Set your time delay, this is the delay that it will go BACK to yahoo answers (in minutes), and see if there is any more questions in that time period. This way you can leave it running in the background and have brand new questions piling up for you.
  5. Press start. Wait for the questions to come in.
  6. Double click on any question to open it in your browser.

Auto Remove : This means that when you double click on a question, it will automatically remove it from the list. Otherwise you will have to remove them manually.

Skip Initial : This means that it will go to yahoo answers, but just check what answers are there. It wont return you any, but will keep the questions in memory. From then on it will only return you new answers that happen throughout the day.

Errors ? :

I dunno whether im going to keep this one going. I was just really bored one day and needed to kill a couple of hours so this came up. Yes i can do full automation, no i wont do it. If you want to suggest a feature you can, but make it small. This isnt a million dollar piece of software and never will be, so dont try and get me to introduce million dollar ideas into it :P

one suggestion would be a total of the number of answers for a particular keyword in a given time period -

but brilliant software as is :)
