This question has been itching me for a few days, if you can provide insight that would be awesome. :approve:

    Page 1: quitsmokingcommunity org/electronic-cigarettes/
    Page 2: quitday org/electronic-cigarettes/

It seems that for every metric, these two websites are pretty much equal (domain authority, content quality and diversity, # of backlinks)
Yet, when it comes to rankings, the 2nd page totally sucks, and the first one is a star.

    SEMrush proof:
Page 1: this page has 1135 keywords, netting 37,000 impressions on the SERPs
Page 2: this page has 2 keywords, netting 0 traffic

What makes the first page rank so much higher than the first?
It seems as though Google just hasn't picked up all the keyword on page 2, though this explanation seems crazy given the time elapsed since publishing, what gives?

    keyword density?
anything over 1.1 bad and even less for longer combos
also it is a keyword in domain which still are good
many other things don't trust moz
