Building wikipedia backlinks is pretty easy these days. In most cases it's easier than getting a guest post or a niche edit.

Yes but It's also easy to get ip address banned from wikipedia.
 
That's cool, you are tryinig a different method on your own or maybe and Idea you saw, is always cool try something different and experiment, try to check also here maybe somone posted more details ot similar to what are you trying to do or continue experimenting on your own.

Thx mate. From my experience playing with different methods doing experiments are the real game.

I know that don't gonna work anymore. Manual legit work is the best soluion for this.

Did you warm up your account? Done some edits to the pages beyond just editing your links?
Is your site any good, reputation, age, size, content?

Hi again. I started editing as a guest. Just found broken links, replicated the content on my site (5 years old, with ok content), and updated the broken link.

Sign up, start editing stuff without adding links. Add links to big sites that are not yours (different niches obviously) and only then add yours once in a while.
Act as if it's not your site, and I hope you haven't burned it already from being on Wikipedia.
 
That's really interesting! I'm sure these backlinks will be great to improve your position on search engine.

How do we find out if its burnt? I still have a few links from it..
