i have the 35$ xsserver plan for scrapebox, running 2 instances, it's smooth. I have 2 scrapebox licenses and using scrapebox on my main pc is killing my bandwidth, i'm pretty sure comcast is gonna do something to me soon.

so should i buy another 35$ xsserver and transfer my main computer scrapebox license over there, or upgrade my current xsserver to 2gigs (since it's the same price as buying another vps)?

btw if anyone else knows an unmetered scrapebox friendly vps company i'll try that, currently really happy with xsserver.

update decided to just buy another vps from xsserver.

Probably 50/50 anyway! I do agree with you though, xsserver are excellent!! :)

Just buy another one.
i guess you couldn't read my update.

this process should take 2-3 days, about a day and a half for xsserver to get it up and running then another possible up to 12 hours to transfer my sb license.

Depending on the personal choice. Although, your current web host should be able to assist you in this selection and help to realize your requirements for hosting. IMO, 35+35= 70; if I was in your position; I would be go for the dedicated server ...

For $70 you could have gone for a dedicated box and it would have been more powerful than two VPS any day of the week. For a few dollars more you would have even got a Xeon server. But maybe the bandwidth on a dedicated might not have been unlimited. So, perhaps not a bad choice.

A VPS just for scrapebox ?? The one I use comes preloaded with Xrumer, scrapebox, SenukeX, Tweetattacks, AMR, TBS licences and more for $50. Not sure if I can mention it here though as its through another Blackhat forum . Understandably there is a waiting list, so you have grab slots while the gettings good. Also won't be a fast as xsserver but the Senukex access alone makes it worthwhile.

dedicated does not work since most dedicated have a bandwidth limit, even xsserver has 5tb limit on their dedicated machines and you could(have) to pay 210 to get unmetered, my thinking is that if you're not using scrapebox to the point that you need unmetered hosting, then you're not using scrapebox.
as an update, since i got another xsserver, i've now gone ahead and upgraded my first one to 5ghz and 3gb, while xsserver support is great, they are SLOW on upgrading, been almost 2days now and they are still haven't upgraded, but they're still great so far.
If i like the speed increase (it's only 60bucks for double the speed and triple the ram) i might just go ahead and upgrade the second one to 8ghz and 5gb (imo the payoff is best if you stick with the every other upgrade since that adds more ram and adds speed)
