Hi people
I tried couple of times doing shopify dropshipping with items from aliexpress, I made some sales in the past but kept going on negative ROI so I gave up...

I raised some budget of around 5k euros which I’m willing to spend on a new dropshipping project, only this time I must succeed and finally make it work and to scale it up. I’m so tired of daily 9-6 job and I know if this thing work it can bring me into a new path where I work for myself on my own things.

Anyway, I’ll be happy if I can find someone to sort of guide me through my progress and to have the person advising if what I’m doing is a good idea or not, if the product is good enough, if the ad copy is good (planning to start probably with influencers then FB ads) and these type of things. Once I see success I can pay the person something we’ll both be happy with, but I MUST MAKE IT WORK this time.

Let me know / DME

Been there done that. Best is to start and keep going again - Nice :)
I've dropshipping also before, but i stopped due to the lack of funds.
Now im saving to start again soon. Goodluck sir!

I started dropshipping with really good results as I partnered with an expert on the field.
My recommendation is to do tests for every product.
If you're losing money at $10 daily budget you will lose a lot of money at higher budgets.
Best of luck!

If you made some sales you already achieved more than many ones, keep working hard best of lucks mate.

Isn't this obvious?
Based on the original post, apparently it seems it's not
Many people think "Oh it's not my targeting/audiences/pitch/creative, it's definitely that I need to spend more on this campaign that isn't working, that will magically make FB/Google turn things around"

How much funds does it require to do for an year continuous ?

It actually depends. For the first 1-3 months, you probably will be losing, since you'll be testing out the waters, new products, the demand and supply.
But if you already have a targeted market, or the winning, then it's perfect.

Good luck. Make sure not to spend too much on advert budgets, and keep track of all expenses. Also, have an exit strategy if all seems to be failing.

May be buying course from someone who was successful with this will be helpful.

Same scenario here, made sales in dropshipping store and pod store with negative ROI through Facebook ads, it's been more than two years doing this, Lost alot so i shut it down few days ago. Now doing nothing and looking for a way to make some money.

Thoughts on not running Ads and doing SEO instead? Spend the money to build traffic up.

Will be a longggg time to see return, but you could then monetise in different ways.

What is the budget for? Entirely advertising and marketing?

For the shop itself and apps, domain and mainly for ads..
starting with a one product shop with a proper product that suppose to work, will spend about 200 bucks for influencers, if this will bring sales then I’ll spend some more for influencers in order to get more data to the pixel... then FB ads with purchase campaigns, testing different ad copies and targeting...
This is the idea in general...
I know it can work if a person does that properly...
What do you people think?
