Another Tornado Outbreak!? Really???

What the crap is up with all these tornadoes in the south? I mean a year ago, the Tuscaloosa tornado nearly destroyed my life. I am still trying to recover from that mess....this winter...Alabama hasn't gone two weeks without a tornado outbreak.

Gotta GTFO of this state and away from these tornadoes.

Suggestions to were I should move to escape them? I know everywhere has its own natural disasters, but after some of the things I saw in Tuscaloosa, dying in a tornado would be one of the worst ways to go.

Alaska has had like 1 tornado since records started being kept in the state.

Or you could move into the high Rockies where tornadoes can't form.

We've a lot lately as well down here. I think it has something to do with the lack of snow this year. Who knows. We had to drag everything not nailed down into the garage yesterday and shut the doors. Been having them the past few days. Even had hail a couple times last few days. It was ping pong size in the next county over. Then again, we have tornadoes for about 2-3 months a year down here.

There are lots of boring areas to live. Cleveland Ohio is one area...they'll get the occasional tornado but always small/weak and not much else to worry about.

If you want absolutely no tornadoes, come to the mountains near Utah/Colorado and stay near the mountainous areas.

Just come here to Cali bro. Don't believe anyone talkin' about earthquakes. I've been here all my life and have'nt felt an earthquake yet.

Actually, The Netherlands has zero percent chance of a tornado. If one does make it here, it is just a storm.
We do have so called wind hoses but there is no comparishment to tornado's other than shape and they are rare.

Very low chances of earthquakes in most of the country. There are some due to gas extraction but nothing that would take a house down.

Laws: Someone got away with community service for murder, not kidding here. Most of the time you get 10 years for that though.

The only sucky thing is the weather really, it is wet.

Also, everybody understands English.

You're lucky. I remember a few back when I lived in Cali. Scariest one was in Tustin. Spent the night in a building on rollers. Earthquake happened about 2am. I thought someone was shaking my bed. It was pretty freaky. I never experienced anything more than broken dishes from earthquakes out there. I think any area in the US is prone to some kind of crazy weather.

I dont think that Murder should be used as an example of the strict/non strict laws of a country lol.

While I do agree with you on some level: Can you think of anything worse to do?
I just have one option but refuse to mention it as an option here. It still gets you less than premeditated murder though.

We do have life sentences but I don't think anybody here is crazy enough to obtain one of those.

I'm here in Cali too but haven't felt one in a while. We're overdue for the big one.

OP no matter where you go it won't be perfect. You'll have to deal with earthquakes, tornadoes, flooding, snow and very cold weather,
the heat, forest fires, erupting volcanos... name the place and mother nature will strike eventually.

But you don't get in trouble for getting drunk in public...
You get in trouble for the damages you cause and if swear excessively at a police officer.
Please note the word excessively.

As an indication: Less than 3% of all reported crimes lead to a conviction. All convictions have a parole after 1/3 of the sentence served disregarding any behavior displayed while locked up. Parole means you don't get caught again, not like the US with restrictions on who you may associate yourself with for instance.

Police officers are actually trained to not make arrests, it is a totally different mindset compared to the US.

The one thing you should not do is commit fraud, Dutchies like money and it shows in their persistence in combating losing out on funds.

Anyways, back to the tornado's and finding a safe place to hide from them.
