This is a forum I have been working on for 2 months

Please let me know what you would change or revise on the site to make it look more welcoming, exciting, professional etc..
Anything from color to layout. (I will probably be change the layout and color very soon)

totally agree on the colors. take a look over that site and you'll get some good tips
 
The Green is too much but its just a vbulletin site so you change that in 2 minutes...think business site sober colours ..light gray/ dark gray.....You need to add lots more sock puppet accounts and too many of your threads and posts are single sentence entries...I would concentrate on writing 15-20 thesis type posts to try and generate debate...Also your offer page should open on a seperate page and not close down your main site.

I am definitely changing the color schemes, no worries. It is still leftover from getting the theme started. Probably to blue and orange.
I like the color theory page too
 
Here's another question:

I have been stuck at around 3.4 million in Alexa traffic rank and have been doing SEO and backlinking.

Maybe they just haven't updated it. I hear its about every 15 days?

Is there something I should also focus SEO efforts on? I am also writing large articles within forum.

Incase you were about to mention.
I know there are great SEO sections on this forum and I have read many, hoping for someone to have direct forum seo info
 
I guess its an improvement, but now I see the header area being too dark.. maybe it's just me though..
 
Your logo is really low resolution. Looks blurry, might want to bump it up.
 
Get some good logo from fiverr. That should help with simple branding.
 
I didn't see the "Before", but the "After" looks great. Other than the logo, it's crisp and appears very professional.
 
Just a thought; your logo could have a play on the "BS" part of the name, like the favicon.

Huge improvements to the theme, though. Even if you just refine the logo colors would be a big improvement.
 
Thanks everyone, I think I'll go and work on a better logo.

Thinking about doing a competition on my site for it but might need more members first.
 
Your work does not seem to be a professional one. You need to work so much that you can do better than this. Try to change your colors and also make it as simple as possible.
