Another question about drop domains...

Guys, I need your help. I find quite good fresh drop domains with clean history, anchor etc...
But they drops because they move to a new domain. For example i find domain from school (not edu)...
something like gaschool.com but they move after for domain goodarisonaschool.com with 301 redirect.
Is it worth taking such a domain, or did he transfer all linkjuice to the new domain?

Yes, it is worth it, because all the existing links are still pointing to gaschool.com, and the 301 was removed (otherwise you couldn't grab it).

301s are harmless. I've met people who claim that once the domain is 301 redirected, it loses all its power. Ridiculous.

Hmmm. So..supposing
If domain A nothing loses with 301 redirect to domain B, but gives some link juice to domain B (under ideal conditions, same niche etc...i read your post about it), after that domain A was dropped, and i buy it and make 301 redirect to domain C (under ideal conditions) and domain A give some link juice to domain C again?
Sounds like domain A is an endless source of linkjuice.

Every domain has a "pool" of link juice. Once you remove redirect from domain B, that "pool" is 100%. Once you do redirect to domain C, that pool is 0%, because it's redirected to domain C.

Is this really such a hard concept to grasp?

Yes, these domains worth the price because all backlinks are still pointing to dropped domain and you can create a money site on the domain directly.

Because Domain still have all these baklink & linkjuices is not 1 time passing thing !!
Suppose Domain is 1 is redirected to domain B, then in that case all link juices diverted to domain B.
but when you redirect domain A to Domain C , then all link juice will divert to domain C.
Link juice is continuously flowing untill backlink not removed.

Nobody can tell you for sure.

On the one hand, that redirect pointed Google for months/years to another domain. It's ridiculously obvious that all users, all bots and all link authority should be transmitted to that new domain. And then domain expires and suddenly points to another site! What a surprise! Should I be a Sherlock Holmes to get what's going on here?

On the other hand, when you buy this domain, you remove 301 but still have those links pointing to your domain.

It's pointless to debate whether there's still 100% of juice on original domain, or it's 0%.

But there are several things that should be took into consideration:

1. Usually when school registers another domain, it just uploads the same site to that domain. So you won't have a chance to recover old site, because you will have a duplicate site.
2. Sites that are linking to a previous domain can be asked to change link to a newer version. This broken link campaign can take half or your links.

This is why for our projects we never buy domains that redirected to relocated URL. It adds extra risk and increases that chance that client won't get a maximum value.
