Another Google Update on It's way

Slight boost. Up 3.37% increase of 47 keywords decrease of 19 All of high values. My top 100 keywords only 3 moved. My top 10 had 11 increases and my top 3 had 13 increases. So for me it affected keywords that were all close the the top of SERPS and practically nothing towards the bottom end.

Saw that last night. Were famous haha.

This update has me on edge very quiet. I agree it is going to take time to see anything conclusive and to make guesses on what's going on. I've not really seen anything major. Traffic and rankings are still on the rise but my site is only a few months old and only just began link building my site has been growing week by week. Guest post and foundation links from forum post no PBNs.

i think google has a lot of work to do before they can even begin to start penalizing guest posts. im sure on some level they devalue certain guest posts, but it is very hard to differentiate a high quality guest post (that was black hat paid for) from a natural, earnest white hat one.

Exactly, couldn't have said it better myself. Guest posting is still incredibly powerful. There is no way if you own an SEO blog and you guest post on Ahrefs Blog that Google will penalize you. A big difference between crap guest posting and earnt high-quality ones. A guest post on Ahrefs and any other high-quality website has a lot of value for both blogs.
 
Got a boost.

Since the March rape, my site was dancing up and down almost on a daily basis. #8 to N/A (for 2 weeks) and back to #8 for a day and down to #50... Very inconsistent rankings, it was like there's an indexation issue.

Now it seems I'm almost back to pre-March rape levels. ALMOST.

Somehow I got the will to work on the SEO projects once again, but I'll have to wait until the dust settles. I might get raped again once the algo rolls out completely lol.

Haven't checked this update closely yet. Seems to me like they'll have to update again soon from what I've seen so far.
 
I feel google has been making constant significant updates over the last few months that all seem to be pushing a yo-yo type listing algorithm.
I have quite a number of websites all within the same industry and same area. One week a certain few sites will have the top spots, then drop down and another few sites then take those spots. What’s interesting for me is my wp sites all seem to move in tandem.

Anyone noticed that the search results is now an endless scroll? Instead of cycling page 1,2 you just hit "more results" button.
 
I have started receiving more traffic since the past 2-3 days. Also, signups have increased. I will have to check my Google Analytics dashboard. Maybe my ranking has gone higher for some keywords.
 
In a valuable keyword where I got nuked there is a result in German within the English results.
