This is not something new, just from the last few months.

Google will start charging money for using the translate API. 20$ for each 1M characters. means, around 0.5-1$ for 500 words page.

Another Google way to take some money. It's a great service, but not at those prices...

The free service will be removed at the end of the year, so if you still have API keys, use them while you can....

Yeap, they try to f..k us, but they f..k themselves.
This Service is used by milions of Users... Google is Following the SAME STEPS, Yahoo Walked time ago... and whats the results ? where is Yahoo now ?

Yes I read about this and thought its already done. Too bad many content spinners will die at the very same moment.

With the quality they offer, it will be a joke. You can find a freelancer with much better skills for $1/500 words.
