Another God Damn Cold Call

I GOT ANOTHER cold call today, i played with him, he gave up sooooo easy, i think ill call his manager up,

convo went like this, i had a rude voice

him: hello is this abc electric

me: yeah whose this?

him: hi this is _________ from ________ is the person who done your website around to talk about some onpage factors that will generate you more business?

me: what are you talking about hes not here.

him: ok thanks g'bye

why would you call to ask for the web designer?

you call to ask for ME, THE PERSON IN CHARGE!!!

you should be getting ideas, not getting pissed off.

There shouldnt be a "what not to do" category in your notebook in that context. What not to do should be things youve tried yourself that yielded nothing but a time sink.

You should have said you will go and get him and then go and make a cup of tea. Make sure you come back to the phone every couple of minutes just to keep em hanging on !!!!

Call back his boss and offer him to hire you, steal their leads and call them up yourself....:firedevil
